Professional lighting for firefighters

Specialized in the manufacture and development of lighting solutions for professionals, ELC France provides custom-made lighting equipment for firefighters and rescue services throughout France.

We offer a selection of equipment adapted to all uses and constraints of the profession, to enable firefighters to light up intervention areas indoors and outdoors, in safe conditions.

Lighting equipment adapted to the needs of firefighters

Easy to transport thanks to flight-case, quick set-up time of just 1 to 2 minutes, mobile lighting solutions for rescue workers have the advantage of being both simple and quick to install, enabling rapid illumination of intervention areas. While lighting equipment must be simple to transport and install in the field, it must also project a powerful luminous flux to provide comfortable visibility for rescue workers on a mission.

Here are several examples of possible applications with emergency lighting equipment:

- Lighting for night interventions: traffic accidents, natural disasters, forest fires, industrial risks, etc.

LUMAPHORE® 400XL for emergency lighting

- Lighting for interventions in confined spaces accidents in tunnels, caves, basements, etc.

- Lightingfor security interventions during events

As can be seen above, the lighting requirements will essentially depend on the environment in which the rescuers will have to intervene. Among all lighting solutions that we offer on our site, here is the selection of lighting solutions that we recommend for firefighters and rescue workers.

Which lighting should be chosen for an outdoor intervention?

To cover an outdoor operation requiring illumination of an area of up to 2,400 m2, we recommend a LUMAPHORE® 300XL lighting balloon, a powerful 360° lighting system with 45,000 Lumens for 300W. Of all the lighting systems we offer, this is the one most used by fire stations!

To cover an outdoor operation requiring illumination of an area of up to 4,500 m2, we recommend a LUMAPHORE® 1000XL lighting balloon, a very powerful 360° lighting device with 131,000 Lumens for 900W.

Both devices have the advantage of being extremely robust, benefiting from a high resistance to wind and insensitivity to weather. A minimum generator of 1.5 KVA is required to power these lighting solutions. For emergency stations that do not have such a generator, we offer generators powerful enough to recharge your lighting solution

What kind of lighting should you choose for an indoor rescue operation?

To cover an indoor operation, we recommend you to equip yourself with a stand-alone LED spotlight.

The K10 stand-alone LED spotlight is the most powerful lighting solution for a stand-alone LED spotlight, with its 12,000 Lumens and 360° rotation for up to 7h30 autonomy.

The K9-30 stand-alone LED spotlight is the most autonomous stand-alone LED spotlight model, offering up to 18h autonomy at 100% power, with its 5,000 to 6,600 Lumens and 360° rotation.

Choosing a portable floodlight is recommended for working in difficult environments, such as caves or other restricted areas. Some accident or disaster configurations do not allow for the installation of a conventional lighting solution, so the LED floodlight is suitable for these uses.

Custom lighting for firefighters

France is rich in regions and territories: plains, forests, mountains, caves, rivers, which can be found on the outskirts of large cities or the countryside. Depending on the geographical area in which it operates, a fire station may have different lighting needs. For example, firefighters who regularly intervene in a mountainous region do not have the same constraints as firefighters who regularly intervene on major roads!

To meet the lighting needs of your fire station, ELC France's specialists will provide you with personalized advice on the lighting solutions to adopt according to your interventions. We can organize on-site demonstrations to familiarize you with the use and performance of the lighting solutions offered on our site. For more information, please contact our teams.
