The LUMAPHORE® XL series are our most versatile and popular models. They are equipped with 4 additional LEDs in the lower part of the luminaire to increase floor lighting. In this range, discover our two high-power models, 1000XL and 1500XL , which offer additional functionality thanks to the control box: an ON/OFF button and a button for 180° or 360° lighting. They are equipped with 8 additional LEDs in the lower section.

OUR XL RANGE OF 360° LIGHTING BALLOONS: UNIFORM, POWERFUL ILLUMINATION FOR ALL YOUR APPLICATIONS
The LUMAPHORE® XL series are the most versatile and popular of our range. They are used in a multitude of trades, from civil engineering and industrial maintenance to fire and rescue services. High-performance, reliable lights that have already convinced thousands of professionals worldwide.
They offer full, uniform 360° illumination, with low shadowing thanks to their tubular shape. Unlike the L series, these models are equipped with a transparent lower bowl in which additional COB LEDs are installed, enhancing their ground lighting. These additional LEDs offer higher wattages, up to 220,800 Lumens for the largest model (LUMAPHORE® 1500XL).
The compact, high-powered models in the LUMAPHORE® XL series
The LUMAPHORE® LED XL range of illuminated balloons is divided into two types: compact and high-power models.
The LUMAPHORE® 300XL and 600XL in the compact series deliver 45,800 Lumens for 2,400 m² and 76,200 Lumens for 3,200 m² respectively. They feature 4 more COB LEDs than the L range.
In the high-power series, the 1000XL and 1500XL balloon illuminators are equipped with 8 additional COB LEDs and deliver 131,000 Lumens for 4,500 m² and 220,800 Lumens for 6,000 m² of illuminated surface area.
For optimum use at height, we offer a four-metre mast for compact models and a five-metre mast with manual winch for LUMAPHORE® LED 1000XL and 1500XL.
XL series construction lighting balloon options
Unlike the LUMAPHORE® 300XL and 600XL, both high-power balloon illuminators are equipped with an additional control box. This offers two options:
- ON/OFF: for switching LUMAPHORE® on and off without having to unplug it
- 180°/360°: allows the fixture to be fully or half lit, for more precise illumination of certain areas
For compact models, these features can be added as an option, but you can also opt for our fully-equipped LUMAPHORE® PREMIUM range.
