Each year, the 2021 national firefighters' congress takes place in a different department. Fairness, practicality, discovery of the environment of the colleagues are all good reasons to make this congress travel throughout France.
After the cancellation of the event planned for October 2020, the Grande Caserne will finally be able to open its doors to congress participants, exhibitors and visitors soon.

For its 127th edition, the Marseille 2021 Organizing Committee and the French National Federation of Fire Fighters are organizing this exceptional congress at the Parc Chanot in Marseille from October 13 to 16, 2021.
2020 being a year of confinement / non-confinement, the health crisis will have had reason for the congress and the original 127th edition had unfortunately to be cancelled. Finally, it is only a postponement because in October 2021, you will have the pleasure to participate in theFrench Firemen Congress in the Bouches-du-Rhône.
More than a congress, it is an event: the Grande Caserne will be animated by the Firemen13, whether they are sailors or sappers. Located in the heart of the 17 hectares of the Parc Chanot where all the assemblies and exhibitions will take place, it will offer 6,000 m² of workshops, discoveries, immersions intended for all the public, young and old, in the heart of the firemen of France.

Congress program
During the 3 days, different activities are planned in order to allow all the professionals to address a maximum of subjects and themes.
On the program, you will find workshops (mountain rescue and dangerous environments, foreign delegations, PATS, SIC, industrialists in the "fire and rescue" sector, etc.), assemblies, meetings and conferences. Come and discuss with your peers about Handi-secourism, the evolution of professions in the face of climatic challenges or take advantage of the support of UDSPs towards Qualiopi certification.
Finally, all the work done in 2020 will not have been in vain, since the new features have simply been postponed. For this new 2021 edition, discover the "corners" concept. It is a space close to the French fire department stand where about twenty participants will attend, during thirty-minute sessions, to exchange ideas by exposing projects, conventions, doctrines... In short, a free place of exchange around first aid.
