National Fire Fighters Challenge 2021: ELC France exhibits and participates!

This year, the annual challenge of the Firemen will take place in the department of the Somme (80) from 16 to 18 September 2021.
It is the great return of this challenge which could not take place the previous year because of the sanitary crisis related to the COVID 19 and the sanitary measures which followed.
2021 sounds like the end of the confinement periods and announces a return to "normal" for professional events. Events are back on track and it is once again time to showcase the most efficient lighting designs for emergency services.
So to the delight of professionals and rescue workers from all over France, the event organized by the SDIS80 and the UDSP80 is back.
The department of the Somme (80) will host the 5th edition of the national challenge of road rescue and emergency rescue to people (SUAP) from 16 to 18 September 2021 at the Zenith of Amiens.

A challenge that makes sense

This event is now a must, and its aim is to improve the work of the fire department for better assistance and even more effective rescue than at present. It aims above all to improve the care of victims of road accidents. All this will be offered in a competitive atmosphere to allow each participant to develop his or her maximum potential in a stressful situation.
On this occasion, the public and private actors of the security will be gathered, like ELC France which will expose its products and which, moreover, will make benefit from it to the challengers.

The program and course of the challenge

The event takes place over 3 days, during which teams of fire fighters from all over France, as well as 2 to 3 foreign delegations, will compete. Standard and complex tests are planned, all based on road accidents or emergency rescue scenarios.
- Road rescue (extrication): each team is composed of 6 members, including the team leader, 2 doctors, 2 technical rescue workers and a person responsible for operational support.
- SUAP (Emergency Personal Assistance): the teams, generally composed of firefighters' doctors and nurses, are evaluated on the management of the emergency and their progress. Each team is composed of 2 members.

ELC France highlights its most efficient equipment

As a specialist in the development and manufacture of lighting solutions for the rescue industry, ELC France is exhibiting and participating in this event.
Our objective is to develop efficient solutions adapted to the specific needs of the rescue services. We study our products so that they correspond to the needs and uses of the various emergency services. Our powerful LED lights are effective for lighting fire zones, rescue and clearing, road accidents, but also for other rescue services such as the white cross, red cross, civil protection, civil security, etc.
Both indoors and outdoors, our lighting solutions can be used under safe and optimal conditions.
For this occasion, we provide equipment to light up the competition areas. The K45 lighting tower and the K65 mobile lighting tower will be perfectly adapted to the needs of the challenge. Also, we will offer equipment usually used by firefighters and which they will use during the events, such as the K9-30 LED floodlight or the K10 LED floodlight.
