Great premiere at the Executive Hire Show in Coventry in Great Britain on the stand of our Distributor, MORRIS SITE MACHINERY: we presented our latest model, the LUMAPHORE® 400 L230.
Based on LED technology, it demonstrates once again ELC's leadership in area lighting and its commitment to always offer innovative solutions. Its characteristics are the following:
- Power supply : 345 Watt
- Lighting power : 32000 Lm
- Color temperature: 5000 °K
- Weight : 6.5 Kg
For several months, our users have wanted an LED version. But LED technology was not usable for area lighting where we need a wide beam and a long range. We could not offer a high performance and affordable material. The efficiency was not there and the heat release was too much of a problem...
But at the end of 2013, thanks to our R&D department and new high performance LED modules, we were finally able to exhibit the prototype of the future LUMAPHORE® LED at BATIMAT before officially presenting it in the UK at the Executive Hire Show. The LUMAPHORE® 400 L230 will be accompanied by a 24 Volt version. The 110 volt and 12 volt power supplies will follow within a few months.
Its characteristics will place it between the performances of LUMAPHORES® CFL 640 and 440. Lighter, 100% immediate ignition, less energy consuming, there is no doubt that our LUMAPHORE® LED will have a great career. The first models will be available next April...
