The LUMAPHORE® LED lighting balloon is an essential piece of equipment for ensuring safe, effective lighting on your construction sites or events. These solutions meet all requirements, whether for work in extreme conditions, areas without electricity or mobility needs.
What is a lighting balloon and how does it work?
Also known as LED balloon lighting, the worksite lighting balloon is a powerful, robust piece of equipment designed for 360° illumination, ideal for illuminating large work areas, even in the most demanding environments. The most powerful models of our solutions illuminate up to 6,000m², guaranteeing optimum visibility on worksites. Unlike traditional floodlights, LED flares offer numerous advantages, including better lighting quality and greater user comfort. The flare is glare-free, producing an even light. Unlike conventional spotlights, they don't cast shadows on the ground.
Our range of temporary site lighting
We offer a wide range of site lighting balloons, in tubular form, called "LUMAPHORE®", manufactured locally and French Fab certified. These 360° lighting solutions are designed to powerfully illuminate all types of areas, whatever the field of activity. Since 2008, ELC France has been supporting professionals in a wide range of sectors, including public works, events, security and sports.

What's technically different about our LUMAPHORE® construction lighting balloon?
High-performance, long-lasting LED technology
Our LUMAPHORE® lighting balloons incorporate state-of-the-art LED technology, combining performance and low energy consumption. The LUMAPHORE® 1500XL model offers a maximum output of 220,800 Lumens. This guarantees uniform illumination, perfectly suited to covering large work areas. Their adjustable light distribution enhances safety by reducing the risk of accidents, and optimizes productivity on worksites.
Our LED lights offer a service life of 50,000 hours. They are particularly well suited to intensive use, with lighting periods ranging from 6 to 10 hours a day. Their low energy consumption makes them an invaluable asset for busy periods or the winter months.
Our lighting solutions, designed to withstand the most demanding environments, are robust and durable, guaranteeing uncompromising use, whatever the conditions.
Lighting for extreme conditions
Our equipment is waterproof, dustproof and shockproof, with protection ratings up to IP65 - IK10. What's more, they can withstand powerful winds of up to 160 km/h. Their light weight, less than 10 kg, makes them extremely mobile and easy to move to different job sites.
Are our LUMAPHORE® suitable for difficult work areas?
Our lighting balloons are suitable for demanding environments, such as wet, dusty or confined areas. The LUMAPHORE® low-voltage range is specially designed to meet strict safety standards in these environments.
In specific areas such as water reservoirs, hydroelectric power stations or petrochemical plants, it's imperative to work with extra-low voltage. This guarantees maximum safety for operators and minimizes risks in these sensitive environments.
The LUMAPHORE® 24V AC/DC 120Lpowered by 24 volts (direct or alternating current), efficiently illuminates up to 800 m² with a luminosity of 22,560 Lumens.
For more power, the LUMAPHORE® 24V AC/DC 230XLmodel, equipped with 4 additional COB LEDs, delivers 34,400 Lumens and covers an area of up to 1,200 m².
These low-voltage solutions guarantee both performance and safety, meeting the requirements of sensitive environments.
How to choose your LUMAPHORE®?
Our wide range of LED site lighting balloons enables you to find the ideal solution for the requirements of your sector. To choose the most efficient and effective equipment, it's important to ask a few key questions to answer your needs precisely.
What is the area to be lit?
The first criterion to consider is the surface area to be illuminated. Our balloon lighting models are available in different wattages and sizes. It's important to choose the right equipment to light the work area effectively.
If you want to illuminate a small area, the less powerful models are best suited to your needs, such as our our LUMAPHORE® 300XL. For larger areas, such as large construction sites or events, opt for more powerful models, like LUMAPHORE® 1500XL.
What's the working environment like?
The working environment is a key factor in choosing your LED lighting balloon. If you work in extreme conditions, choose a tough model, suitable for harsh environments. For damp or dusty areas, choose a model with IP65 protection, offering robustness and performance.
What type of energy is available on site?
Energy availability is an important criterion when choosing your lighting. If your worksite has access to electricity, our LUMAPHORE® can be easily plugged into the mains to guarantee powerful, reliable lighting.
On the other hand, if your site doesn't benefit from a direct power supply, we offer perfectly adapted solutions. Opt for our self-contained stand-alone or combine your LUMAPHORE® with a generator. These options give you total mobility and enable you to work efficiently, even in isolated areas or without electricity.
Do you need mobility and maneuverability?
The mobility of the lighting balloon is another decisive aspect, especially if you need to move the lighting frequently around your work areas. If you work in confined spaces or need to move your equipment quickly, opt for our lightweight, compact models.
Our lighting balloons weighing less than 10kg are easy to move and set up in different areas. What's more, we offer a wide range of accessories to adapt your lighting balloons to your needs.
